Rebecca Johannsen: (Deviser/Director) Rebecca holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from the University of California Irvine and University of California San Diego joint doctoral program. She also holds a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre from San Diego State University. She teaches Theatre Studies in the Drama Department of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and has taught at Fordham University, Mercy College, California State University Northridge, UC Irvine, and MiraCosta College. Prior to her academic career, Rebecca was the founder and Artistic Director of Stone Soup Theatre Company, a critically acclaimed San Diego-based company dedicated to producing work that engages in societal change. She co-produced Erik Ehn’s Soulographie: Our Genocides theatrical event, a 17 play cycle about genocide in the 20th century, performed around the world and culminating in two weeks of performance at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in New York. She has also worked with playwright Janet Sternberg to develop and workshop her play The Fifth String at La MaMa. Rebecca is a member of the Young Vic's Director's Network and has trained in workshops through that programme as well as directing intensives at Shakespeare's Globe in London. Jodie Adele Cole: (Choreographer and movement director) received a BA Hons in dance performance from Middlessex University and went on for further training at London Contemporary Dance School. Jodie was recently accepted into the Masters Degree course in Movement, Directing and Teaching at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked internationally as a choreographer and performer, touring India. She undertook further training at l'ecole des sables, West Africa, with Germaine Acogny, learning traditional and contemporary African dance. Most recently, Jodie was supported by Dance Research Studio and Jacky Lansley, to explore voice and movement in an interdisciplinary context. She currently facilitates for Step into Dance (Royal Academy of Dance), with her youth works performed at Sadler's Wells and The Royal Festival Hall, and she has mentored and trained freelance dance facilitators for Step Into Dance. She also creates and performs her own solo dance theatre works across the UK, performs for choreographers and theatre companies, which have included, Gary Clarke, GDA, Parkour Dance, Needlefoot Dance and many more, and she has most recently assisted with movement for Sisata Theatre on their upcoming tour of Othello. Jodie is also an experienced yoga practitioner and teaches yoga across London. Mayou Trikerioti: (Set and Costume Design) Mayou trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School after finishing her BA hons in Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Kent. Mayou is one of Greece's most established theatre designers. She has worked at all the country's major theatres and festivals including the National Theatre in Athens and the Ancient theatre of Epidavros. She now lives in London where she has recently designed at the Young Vic and Riverside Studios. She works on all scales grand and small, and her portfolio ranges from plays that enjoyed successful runs of two-three years to one-off, site-specific performances. Since 2007 Mayou has designed feature and short films that have traveled across the globe and screened at international film festivals, including Venice Film Festival, Berlin and Toronto IFF. Most recently she designed costumes for True Crimes, dressing amongst others Jim Carrey, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Agata Kulesza. Eden Orfanos: (Visual Artist) Eden is a powerful contemporary portraitist and artist. She creates iconic images that are fresh and edgy with classical sensibilities. Matt Warburton (Sound Designer) Matt is a local to San Diego California and has been involved in various aspects of theatre throughout the years.  In 2015 he received a Masters in Theatre from San Diego State University where he directed touring Shakespeare shows for youth.  Matt has had the honor of first sound designing for Rebecca Johannsen on the production 'Miss Julie', and is delighted to team up with her again with 'Women at War'.
